Abstract
- The article discusses the accreditation of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Morris Brown College is an unaccredited HBCU in Atlanta, Georgia, which is led by president Stanley Pritchett. It is noted that graduates of unaccredited schools may have a difficult time finding jobs and yet enrollment has not changed appreciably since the school lost its accreditation. Barber-Scotia College in North Carolina also lost its accreditation.
