Abstract
- The authors comment on the study "Short Term Effects of Temperature on Risk of Myocardial Infarction in England and Wales: Time Series Regression on Analysis of the Myocardial Ischaemia National Audit Project (MINAP) registry," by K. Bhaskaran and colleagues, published within the issue. The authors contend that the research findings correlate with findings from a similar study in Paris, France during the 2003 heat wave. The authors point out that the strength of the study is that myocardial infarction was supported by clinical data.
