Abstract
- The article reports on the environmental dispute between Uruguay and Argentina, which can be resolved by a group of scientists. It says that the controversy, which involves a Uruguayan paper-mill complex on a shared Uruguay River, has sparked protests from many Argentinians prompting Argentina to take its neighbouring country to the International Court of Justice. It adds that a joint river monitoring was agreed by the two countries forming their common border for algal blooms and pollution.
