Abstract
- The article describes the case of a 35-year-old woman who presented with postpartum hemorrhage despite uterotonics treatment 2 hours post cesarian section for major placenta previa. Relaparatomy was decided and the uterine incision was reopened revealing persistent and heavy bleeding deep in the placental site. Application of FloSeal was chosen and hemostasis was achieved in minutes. The case suggests that hemostatic gel provides quick hemostatic control where surgical intervention may be difficult.
