Abstract
- The article presents a study that investigates visual stimuli encoding of Hodgkin-Huxley neurons in the U.S. To assess neural circuitry, researchers applied neural decoding methods to recover complex stimuli in natural scenes. They found that majority of models encoded during early visual system have linear receptive field with non-linear spike generation mechanism.
