The history and future of CLA according to me.

Abstract: The author discusses her participation in the Canadian Library Association (CLA) and the association's history and future as of January 2010. The author entered CLA in 1995 when she volunteered on Local Arrangements Committee for CLA's annual conference. According to the author, before she had entered the association, provincial library associations were already members of the CLA council. The author stresses that CLA needs to start a dialogue with Canadian institutions in Canada to utilize creativity, intelligence and passion.
