Abstract

The article discusses a study that aims to determine workplace harassment among women, types and reasons for harassment faced by women employees in India. According to the study, nearly 28% of the research subjects had encountered some form of harassment, out of which 37% were below 25 years old. It notes that there is an increase in workplace harassment among women because of the rise in number of women employees. It cites the need for the government to address the issue of harassment for the purpose of ensuring a safe working environment for women.
