Abstract
- The article cites a study that explains how ultra violet Raman Resonance (UVRR) and Raman depolarization help in understanding the underlying electronic transititons in peptides. According to researchers, UVRR spectroscopy is well established as a technique for probing secondary structure of peptides and proteins. It was found that the broad absorption spectra of these two techniques provide little information about the underlying excited states.
