Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the Libraries in the Digital Age meeting held last May 24-28, 2010 in Zadar, Croatia. The keynote speech of Rutgers University professor Tefko Saracevic focused on the global growth of electronic books and the development of digitization programs. Another speech is presented by Gary Marchionini, dean of the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill about the preservation of personal data by digital libraries.
