Abstract
- The article discusses the athletic performance's adaptations after ballistic power exercise versus heavy strength training. It presents implication of different exercises and training stimuli to the changes in the force-velocity relationship, jump mechanics, muscle architecture, and neural activation. It depicts the different long-term and short-term benefits of ballistic training and strength training. It focuses on the performance improvement due to neuromuscular adaptations using various heavy physical training.
