Abstract

The article discusses the athletic performance's adaptations after ballistic power exercise versus heavy strength training. It presents implication of different exercises and training stimuli to the changes in the force-velocity relationship, jump mechanics, muscle architecture, and neural activation. It depicts the different long-term and short-term benefits of ballistic training and strength training. It focuses on the performance improvement due to neuromuscular adaptations using various heavy physical training.
