Abstract

Tests the hypothesis that granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor increases CD4[sup +] T cell counts of HIV-infected patients receiving stable, highly-active antiretroviral therapy. CD4[sup +] cell count and plasma HIV RNA; Interleukin-2 production in phytohemagglutinin-stimulated supernatants in whole blood.
