Abstract
- The article focuses on the redesign and reconstruction by aircraft industry firm Boeing Co. of a factory for the construction of jet transports in Everett, Washington. Lean manufacturing elements of the factory's overhaul is examined, The factory produced Boeing's widebody jet transports such as the 747 and 787 models.
