Abstract

The article discusses the proper knot tying technique in dermatological surgery to ensure good outcomes and avoid suturing complications such as infection and scarring. It states that knot orientation and strand ends may be controlled by observation and analysis of square knot tying process which is important in proper healing of the wound. It mentions that the oblique buried suture on standard vertical subcutaneous sutures covers more tissue area that allows surgeons to stitch easily.
