An essay is presented on the different perspectives on health care fraud that follows the money. It explores the key attributes making the health care system a target for fraud, discusses the financial incentives that affect the group's behavior, and offers insights on the future of the anti-fraud agenda in health care reform. It mentions the implication of the reliance on documentation of services rendered and the persistence of decentralized health care system.
