Abstract
- The closely controlled mutual characteristics of modern low-cost planar transistors permit the design of a novel complementary monostable circuit which has zero standby power dissipation, a predictable pulse duration and which is suitable for use with single power supply logic systems such as transistor logic (T<SUP2>L). <BR> This paper considers the performance of a logic-compatible, saturating, complementary monostable circuit in which the pulsewidth is primarily dependent on the closely defined mutual characteristic of modern bipolar transistors.
