Abstract
- The article explains the use of game mechanics to generate sales for brands. According to the author, using game mechanics to generate certain customer behavior is not entirely new with airline and hotel reward programs. Bunchball chief executive officer (CEO) Rajat Paharia game mechanics can resolve the difficulty of getting people to participate online and offline. The author says that with the use of game mechanics, feedback loops are created and companies can change things and get better results.
