La relación entre creatividad y expertise: contribuciones teóricas y empíricas.

Creativity and expertise are two topics receiving increased attention from researchers in different fields of knowledge. Personal attributes that are associated with a high creative production, factors that support the development and expression of creativity and expertise, and processes involved in the development of high competence and creativity, are being the subjects of many studies. We expand on the theoretical contributions and empirical studies about creativity and expertise. Common elements to the development of creativity and expertise, characteristics of educational environments that promote them, as well as theoretical models and empirical studies, are explained.
