Synthesis and MDR inhibitory activity evaluation of derivatives of schizandrin A.

Eighteen schizandrin A derivatives, possessing an acyl group at 7-OH and/or halogen(s) at C-4 and C-11, were designed and synthesized for evaluation of their in vitro ability to inhibit multidrug resistance (MDR).
