Abstract
- The article discusses a court case involving Pine Labs Private Limited v. Gemalto Terminals India Private Limited which deals with the issue of ownership of copyright under Indian law. It specifically discusses the applicability of Section 19 to an equitable assignment in order to determine its legitimacy. The Delhi High Court determined that the copyright ownership was based on the aspect relating to contract of employment and contract for employment.
