Abstract
- The article reports on the approval by China's State Council on a three-network convergence program for broadcasting, telecommunications, and Internet networks sectors to boost development of digital communications in the country and provide convenience for users at one link. The convergence program will reportedly be implemented in 12 cities as of July 1, 2010. It is stated that the integration is hoped to spark investments in innovative products and services by service providers, application developers and hardware manufacturers. INSET: A Multi-Faceted Boost.
