Abstract
- The author believes that oxygen should be given to patients suffering from myocardial infarction. He criticizes a systemic review which claimed that inhaled oxygen does not improve pain and survival in patients with acute myocardial infarction. He also notes the importance of oxygen for people suffering from stable angina pectoris because the disease is caused by a lack of oxygen supply to the myocardium.
