Abstract
- The author focuses on French philosopher, historian and sociologist Michel Foucault's views on war against the so-called biopower. In his lectures, Foucault questioned whether war serves as a general paradigm of power relations which influence modern political orders. It explains that war-like nature of power has been a central theme in Foucault's work throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
