Abstract

The article discusses how scanning the brain of individuals who are watching horror films could help make the movies more frightening and reshape the way movies, including all genres, are filmed. Topics include an overview of research using a functional magnetic resonance imager (fMRI) to record real-time images of brain activity, neuromarketing, and how monitoring brain activity can take the bias out of focus groups.
