Stored Value Facilities are becoming increasingly available for Australian consumers. But what are the consumer protections offered to users of these facilities. This article examines and outlines what is a stored value facility, considers their advantages and disadvantages and the current role of the Electronic Funds Transfer Code of Conduct.
