Abstract
- The article discusses how libraries' readers' advisory (RA) services and reference services work together. According to the article, the two services are similar in approach, as is defined in the 1930 book "Reference Work: A Textbook for Students of Library Work and Librarians" by James Wyer. Many librarians' lack of training in RA, the discomfort of change in library services, and a library's blended environment with RA reference and RA are discussed.
