Abstract: This article presents supplementary comments to the research of the Biblical scholar Erasmus Gass regarding the interpretation of the "great wrath" of God as cited in the Old Testament passage of 2 Kings 3:27. The author highlights the additional medical interpretation of the phrase to refer to plague and suggests it adds additional nuance to the understanding of the passage.
