COMMERCIAL DATABASES IN EAST ASIAN STUDIES.

Abstract: The article offers information on commercial databases related to East Asian studies. It states that the Statistics Committee of the Council on East Asian Libraries (CEAL) begun collecting online data and compilation of statistics which includes electronic resources. It says that the 2008/2009 survey lists 718 electronic subscriptions from 46 libraries in North America. It also includes tables that list commercial databases related to Chinese, Japanese, and Korean studies among others.
