Demonstrates high-resolution analysis of tomato leaf elongation and application of novel time-series analysis techniques. Rejection of the practice curve fitting by data based mechanistic modelling methodology; Advantage of the technique in optimal recursive estimation of non-stationary and non-linear time series; Encouragement in using the techniques in analytical plant physiology.
