Abstract

The article discusses the maritime history of Oman. Oman's past inaccessibility is said to have been replaced by a welcoming attitude under the sultanate of Monarch Qaboos bin Said. Expatriate archaeological teams are said to be exploring numerous 5th and 4th millennium Before Common Era (BCE) sites throughout Oman.
