Abstract
- This article reports that Pratt & Whitney has expanded its overhaul work on airplane engines at two of its powerplants in Istanbul, Turkey. Also, Pratt & Whitney's overhaul facility in Shanghai, China is fully operational as it opened in partnership with China Eastern Airlines. The connection with Turkish Airlines will give Pratt & Whitney a chance to compete for overhaul of other international airlines' CFM56 and V2500 engines.
