Abstract
- In this article the author discusses a development in Asian American studies, concentrating on courses that are gauged to specific ethnic groups. There is concern that the ethnic specific courses could detract from the importance of a broad pan-Asian course of study. It is explained that as their is no single Asian social life and culture or language students are concerned with their specifics roots.
