Abstract

In this article, multi-band antenna covering LTE700/GSM850/GSM900/DCS1800/PCS1900 for mobile terminal is presented.The proposed capacitive feeding antenna is a IFA type antenna and implemented as a PCB embedded antenna (PEA). Broad bandwidth in low-band is achieved using pattern overlapped capacitive feeding. Simulation is conducted to verify broad low-band and multi-band operation using HFSS and experimental results are also presented. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
