Abstract
- The article discusses the Judaeo-Persian inscriptions in the tombstones that emerged during the season of the Minaret of J0101m Archaeological Project conducted at J0101m, Afghanistan in 2005. It states that Andrea Bruno discovered the semata, a large stone with inscriptions in Hebrew letters, which he believed to have come from a Jewish cemetery. It says that the inscriptions impart a fascinating insight into the religious demography of Afghanistan during medieval period.
