Examines the performance of ruthenium complexes containing the tridentate bpea ligand as redox catalysts by elemental analyses, ultraviolet-visible and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopies, and electrochemical studies. Stereoisomeric analysis of complexes; Redox spectrophotometric titration by sequential addition of cerium(IV); Potential/pH regions of stability for oxidation states and their dominant proton compositions.
