Abstract

The article reveals that most companies fail to deliver proof that enterprise resource planning (ERP)software is worth the time and financial expense. Several reasons for refusing to employ metrics such as return on investment (ROI) are discussed. Details related to when to measure and who is responsible, as well as some of short-comings of metrics are presented.
