Abstract
- The article discusses the attempted terrorist attacks on the U.S. since September 11, 2001. According to the article, luck, vigilance, and the incompetence of those who plotted the attacks have aided the U.S. The failed car bomb allegedly created by Faisal Shahzad in New York City's Times Square earlier in May 2010 is noted. The small-scale attacks that have been carried out in the U.S. such as the shooting at the Washington, D.C. Holocaust Museum as well as larger terror plots are discussed.
