Abstract

The article presents a study on the prognostic significance of vascular endothelial growth (VEGF) in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), which is a leading cause of death from a gynaecological malignancy. The study uses Pearson's chi square test, Spearman rank, and univariable analysis to examine the correlation among VEGF-A and other prognostic variables. Result shows that cancer patients with high level of VEGF have a risky survival rate as compared to those with low VEGF expression.
