Examines the mtDNA variations of Kung and Khwe individuals using high-resolution RFLP analysis and control region sequencing in South Africa. Combination of the resulting data with RFLP haplotype and CR data from sub-Saharan Africa; Inclusion of Kung and Khwe mtDNA to the major mt DNA lineage; Comparison between the Kung and Khwe CR sequence with other African population.
