Abstract: This section presents updates on science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the U.S. The deadline for presenters to submit their papers for the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association's 73rd Annual Conference titled "Preparing the STEM Workforce: The Next Generation" is on June 15, 2010. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Governing Board has unanimously approved the title and year change for the NAEP framework/assessment/specifications. Concord Evaluation Group together with WGBH are conducting research as part of an ongoing effort to evaluate the "Engineering Your Life" program.
