Abstract
- The article focuses on the environmental aspects of increased toilet tissue production and consumption. According to Claude Martin of Worldwide Fund for Natureaper, 10 percent of the total deforestation is attributable to toilet paper. As predicted by the Chinese Institute of Paper, within the next 10 years, China will become the fastest-growing consumer of all paper products, including toilet paper. Further, it suggests to recycle waste office paper to be used in the making of toilet paper.
