Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 72-year-old Japanese man who was referred to a hospital to excise the sebaceous inflammatory cysts on his swelling right cheek. It says that patient was treated with oral antibiotics in his previous clinic. The patient was diagnosed with maxillary sinus carcinoma after considering the findings of histological examination that showed results consistent to squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Intra-arterial chemotherapy using cisplatin was applied to the patient.
