Hog Stressors Measured in Transit.

The article discusses the study by the Prairie Swine at the University of Saskatchewan on hog transportation in Canada. The study used data collected during summer and winter hauling conditions in two parts of the country, Quebec and Saskatchewan. Researchers from both parts analyzed data related to the physical condition of the pigs, temperature, relative humidity and hauling distance. They presented tips and transport suggestions based on their findings.
