Abstract

The article discusses the treatment of ocular inflammation such as superficial punctate keratitis (SPK), a condition that is characterized by the destruction of small clusters of cells on the corneal epithelium. SPK can cause pain or impaired vision if left untreated with topical corticosteriods that can control inflammation. One of the treatments of SPK is LOTEMAX or loteprednol etabonate ophthalmic suspension 0.5 percent that addresses corneal inflammation.
