Abstract
- The article reports on the mortality-related burden of human papillomavirus (HPV)-associated cancers and all malignant cancers in the U.S. in 2003. It states that the HPV-associated cancers among younger individuals and among women contribute more to years of potential life lost (YPLL). It infers that need of HPV vaccination, cancer screening and other effective early detection programs for HPV-associated cancers.
