Abstract: In electromagnetic nondestructive testing (E-NDT), it is possible not only to detect cracks, but also the local variations of resistivity which are correlated with fatigue. We have developed methods to this end. A case when it is not possible to detect a crack directly, but through the accompanying resistivity variation, is described. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
