The author reflects on duplicate publications, self-plagiarism and the monotony of endless descriptive studies. He discusses how the advent of plagiarism software into the manuscript submission process makes identifying plagiarism easier. He stresses the importance of identifiying new methods of inquiry and different conceptual structures to change the shape and patterns of knowing that so much information have been acquired.
