Abstract
- In this article the author expresses criticism of high speed railway lines planned by the administration of U.S. president Barack Obama. He claims that the measures for such a development are imprudent, inefficient and a waste of money. The article examines a proposed high speed rail line between Tampa and Orlando, Florida, and a similar line that would link the cities of San Francisco with Los Angeles, California. The major drawback to both of these projects is the operating costs, the article states.
