'I wondered if brewing was really for me'

An interview with Sir John Holman, the director of the National Science Learning Centre, is presented. When asked what he had done if he did not teach, he says that he would be a brewer and that he was even ready to work in a big brewing company after he had finished his studies in Cambridge. Holman says that his biggest professional influence was his father who was a chemist. Moreover, Holman says that he does not have any regrets in his life and feels very fortunate for the life he has.
