Abstract
- The article presents a profile of U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner. His experience with the U.S. Treasury Department, his work with the presidential administrations of George W. Bush and Barack Obama, and the public response to his work as Treasury Secretary are examined. Particular focus is given to Geithner's economic reforms, including the bailout of large banks and the U.S. Stimulus Act of 2009.
