Abstract: In this work, deflection was calculated for sandwich composite panel with steel core and composite facesheets in in-plane loading. Investigation on sandwich panel deflection for different plate dimension ratios (Lx/Ly= 0.375, 0.500, 0.625) and boundary condition was made. For different elastic modulus and thicknesses of face sheets (ty- 0.002, 0.0025 ve 0.0030 mm) collapse was obtained by using analytic and finite element method, and results were compared.
